Careers in English
Why is an English Degree Useful?
According to Burning Glass and Strada Institute for the Future of Work (one of the nation’s largest student loan guarantors), 43% of college graduates are underemployed. However, literature majors were among the most employed after five years, following STEM majors. See this Forbes article for the details. A degree in literature surpassed Business, Health Professionals, Education, and Psychology in employment.
